Death City (デス・シティー Desu Shittii) also sometimes known as Death Vegas (デス・ベガス Desu Begasu) is the main setting for Soul Eater. It is here where the Death Weapon Meister Academy is located. The fictional city is located in Nevada, United States.

The Death Weapon Meister Academy (死神武器職人専門学校, Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakkō; Literally meaning "Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School"), or DWMA (死武専, Shibusen; Literally meaning "Death Military Department") for short, is an academy located in the fictional Death City, of Nevada

The Death Room is the mysterious room in Shibusen where Shinigami often resides.

Chupa♡Cabra's

Chupa♡Cabra's (チュパキャブラス Chupa Kyaburasu in Japanese) is a cabaret club located deep within Death City, and a club that Spirit often visits. It is a cabaret club like no other, as it turns out that it is run by Witches.

Hook Cemetery

Hook Cemetery (釣爪墓地 Fukku Semetarii in Japanese), so named because of the many hooks hanging from its trees, is a graveyard located in Death City.

The Apartments

When viewed from outside, it looks like a regular building, with the exceptions that some parts extend out from the structure and are different colours.

Magic Castle Cinder

Magic Castle Cinder (シンデル魔城 Shinderu Majou in Japanese), known as Demon Castle Cinder in the English version, is an old abandoned castle and the Witch Angela's lair and the place where she lives peacefully with Mifune after he rescues her from mafia groups who wanted her Witch Soul. Mifune always guards the entrance to the castle to prevent anyone who wanted Angela's soul from getting inside. However, the castle is only seen in the Prologue of the series when Alcapone and his men tries to infiltrate it, and later when Black Star and Tsubaki come to find Angela. After Angela and Mifune join Arachnophobia, the castle is likely abandoned.

Sarcophagus

Sarcophagus (石棺 Sekikan in Japanese, literally meaning 'stone coffin') is a town that only appears in the anime, and contains the last Demon Tool ever made by Eibon, the Key. An eerie ghost town that is sealed off, it is said that anyone who goes into the town never comes back.

The Moon

The Moon (月 Tsuki in Japanese) though not technically a character, is still a noteworthy part of the Soul Eater world.

Witch Prison

Witch Prison (魔女牢獄 Majo Rougoku in Japanese) is a prison run and guarded by Witches for criminals who have dared tried to act against the Witches. Its notable prisoner is Free. Its location is unknown, and it is surrounded by a dark forest.
